Juice Technology AG announces the founding of Juice Americas Inc.
Juice Technology AG, manufacturer of charging stations and software, leader in mobile charging stations for electric vehicles, is expanding into the USA and founding the subsidiary Juice Americas Inc. based in Delaware.
Just after expanding to the Far East, Juice is expanding its geographical presence to North America, thereby reaching another important milestone in the company's history. It was clear from the start that this step would come sooner or later. Since the company has long-term goals, the perfect timing had to be carefully considered. With an existing customer base in the USA, the focus is now increasingly on strategic business.
Christoph Erni, CEO and founder of Juice Technology AG, says: "Politics and business are now setting the right tone in the USA. For example, the federal government's entire fleet of 645,000 official cars is being electrified. And major vehicle manufacturers such as General Motors are also now driving forward the mobility transition and are planning to completely electrify their vehicles by 2035. That's why today is the right time to gain a foothold in the USA."
Although electric cars (EVs) still only account for around two percent of the market share in the USA (as of January 2021) , the potential in the USA, with an estimated more than 100 million passenger vehicles, is great.
"In addition to the availability of affordable vehicle models, the development of a sensible and sustainable charging infrastructure is also important for a mobility change," says Michael Boehm, General Manager Juice Americas. "Consumers must have easy, safe and flexible charging available at all times. Mobile charging solutions play a central role in this - especially in a country with such large distances. With our mobile wall boxes, we have the missing piece of the puzzle."
Michael Boehm is currently building up the team for Juice in the USA. The communications graduate with Swiss roots has worked in the automotive sector (supplier industry) for 25 years and has lived in the USA for 22 years. With almost 15 years as Director of Marketing & Sales at Suhner Manufacturing Inc., Boehm brings a wealth of experience to his new role at Juice.
Juice Technology AG is present at several locations worldwide with its own branches, subsidiaries and partner companies. It also has a global network of resellers. 170 people now work in development, production, marketing, sales and logistics. The group is now being expanded to include Juice Americas Inc.
