Juice Technology AG, a leading manufacturer of mobile charging stations for electric cars, wins the German Design Award for excellent design in the “Automotive Parts and Accessories” category with its JUICE BOOSTER 2 mobile charging station.

The German Design Award is the German Design Council's international premium award. It is intended to discover, present and award unique design trends. Every year, top-class submissions from product and communication design are awarded prizes. The German Design Award, initiated in 2012, is one of the most recognized design competitions in the world and enjoys a high reputation far beyond specialist circles.

Juice Technology AG was able to convince the jury with the JUICE BOOSTER 2. The waterproof, mobile charging station fits easily into any trunk and enables electric car drivers to charge their cars easily, safely and quickly. Thanks to the cylindrical housing, any pressure that arises is evenly distributed. This makes the JUICE BOOSTER 2 drive-over-proof with a wheel load of up to three tons.

As a charging station, the JUICE BOOSTER 2 is not just in a display case, but is exposed to a wide range of environmental influences and charging situations. The design therefore not only has to look good, but also be functional. The competition sets the highest standards when determining its winners. The jury of the German Design Award 2020 is made up of design experts from business, teaching and science as well as the design industry. All jury members are recognized figures in their fields.
