The integrated battery makes the difference

The integrated energy storage system (ESS) of the High Power Charger (HPC) enables high charging power without having to increase the connected load. The battery is charged either continuously or only in certain time windows and is then available for high power output despite low input power. To charge a vehicle, the power can either come from the energy storage unit alone or additional mains power can be connected. This means that several vehicles can be charged in a short time.

Simply revolutionary: DC charging without installation effort

The JUICE ULTRA 2 battery can be connected directly to a conventional industrial socket (e.g. CEE32, preferably CEE125 or CEE63). This means that no complex structural measures are required, which enables super-fast installation. Companies with limited connected capacity can now create highly efficient charging options for electric vehicles without expensive infrastructure adjustments.

Avoid peak loads and use night-time electricity

The clever energy management system of the JUICE ULTRA 2 battery helps to save costs by avoiding expensive peak loads. Times with cheap electricity tariffs, such as at night, can be used to charge the charging station battery. The savings potential is great, as additional performance-related costs and grid fees from energy suppliers are avoided. The "peak shaving" in turn benefits the grid operators by stabilizing the entire power grid.

Saving running costs through solar-controlled charging

The JUICE ULTRA 2 battery also enables the storage and use of electricity from PV systems without additional installations. The solar power generated is first used for the building's own consumption before it is used to charge the JUICE ULTRA 2 battery. PV surplus charging has never been so easy. Fleet owners can also improve their CO₂ balance in this way.
