JUICE BOOSTER 3 air and JUICE CHARGER me 3 have been included in the Austrian e-mobility funding program
Juice Technology AG, manufacturer of charging stations and software, and leader in mobile charging stations for electric vehicles, has qualified for the Austrian e-mobility funding program 2023 with the JUICE BOOSTER 3 air and the JUICE CHARGER me 3.
From now on, e-mobility users in Austria have the opportunity to purchase the outstanding quality Swiss charging stations JUICE CHARGER me 3 and JUICE BOOSTER 3 air at a lower price thanks to the “E-Mobility for Private Individuals” 2023 funding program. The JUICE CHARGER me 3 has also been added to the list of eligible charging stations under “Charging infrastructure for companies”.
The extremely user-friendly and 100 percent standard-compliant wallboxes meet the conditions for climate and environmental protection funding from the Austrian Climate Protection Ministry and automobile importers thanks to their smart and networkable properties. An important requirement is that the charging infrastructure is powered by electricity from renewable energy sources. With Juice Power and quotas of real-time hydroelectric power, this is even possible on the go.
The Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) is making 95 million euros available for the promotion of electromobility in 2023. Applications can be submitted now until the available budget is fully exhausted or until the end of March 2024.
The smart, mobile wallbox JUICE BOOSTER 3 air
The fully-fledged mobile wallbox in a small format enables single to three-phase charging with up to 11 kW and allows parking areas to be opened up quickly with maximum flexibility for users. Smart functions such as dynamic load management for up to ten units, remote/time control, user management including RFID activation and a charging logbook with receipt function are accessed via the j+ pilot app. The function of the button on the Type 2 plug is configurable and enables, for example, the charging plug to be released when the car is unlocked. An internet connection for load management and over-the-air updates is available via WLAN. Error detection for eleven internal and external error types also triggers when the vehicle consumes excessive power or when sockets are incorrectly wired. Some electricians even use the device as a safety test for sockets in buildings. The 7-in-1 device is connected to the network via proprietary adapter plugs on the JUICE CONNECTOR with automatic power detection. Household plugs have JUICE CELSIUS overheating protection directly on the plug pins. This reliable temperature monitoring pauses charging if the socket overheats. Extension cables with a length of 5 m and 10 m increase the range and ensure maximum flexibility. With the lockable holder, the mobile charger becomes a conventional wall charging station.

The smart 11 kW wallbox can be upgraded to a maximum charging capacity of 22 kW free of charge using software. The device is completely preconfigured at the factory and only needs to be connected ("Plug & Play"). Activation is possible either via RFID or via "Plug & Charge" (according to ISO 15118). A graphical user interface allows intuitive onboarding of the charging stations in just a few minutes. Multiple devices can be managed via the JUICE EXO backend, right up to entire large garages. WLAN and Ethernet ensure connectivity. Dynamic load management for up to 250 units is already on board, as well as a directly readable, MID-compliant electricity meter. The charging station is optionally available with a combined residual current and circuit breaker (FI/LS) for easy integration into power distribution systems.
Both the JUICE BOOSTER 3 air and the JUICE CHARGER me 3 are CE-compliant according to all applicable EMC guidelines, operational at outside temperatures between -30°C and 50°C, protected against the ingress of dirt and moisture according to IP67, highly shock-resistant according to IK10 and therefore suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
