Juice Technology AG is presenting three game changers in terms of charging technology at the first Juice World Charging Day 2020
Juice Technology AG, manufacturer of charging stations and software, leader in mobile charging stations for electric vehicles, is presenting a new generation of charging technology at the first Juice World Charging Day 2020 in the Eisbach Studios in Munich: The "J+" series with the JUICE CHARGER 3 and the JUICE BOOSTER 3 air takes e-mobility and the area of charging solutions to a new level. Another industry-wide innovation: the complete charging infrastructure in a rental model via the subsidiary Juice Services AG.
The e-mobility market is developing inexorably and the industry is in the midst of a boom. It is therefore essential that charging station manufacturers only produce intelligent charging stations in the future. They must be networked with each other, be able to communicate with each other and be centrally managed with dynamic load management.
The new “J+” series stands for comprehensive connectivity
This is exactly where Juice has already started. The "J+" series from Juice Technology AG is a new generation of charging technology that is taking the electromobility industry into a new era in terms of charging infrastructure. J+ connects all charging stations marked with it and makes them intelligent as a group. This means that different types of charging stations from Juice can communicate with each other and share user management information. The individual devices are also able to regulate the omnidynamic charging and load management system smartJUICE, which intelligently distributes the available power to all charging stations in the system. Christoph Erni, CEO and founder of the technology company, makes it clear: "Software is the key to success, not the hardware. And software is also the key to future-proof and sustainable charging infrastructure - device connectivity is an absolute must. This was previously future thinking, but we have already managed to enter this new level of charging technology."
2021 on the market: JUICE CHARGER 3 and JUICE BOOSTER 3 air
Together with J+, a new generation of the Juice Wallbox, the JUICE CHARGER 3, as well as the addition to the JUICE BOOSTER 2, the JUICE BOOSTER 3 air, will be launched in 2021. Both devices belong to the "J+" series, are compatible with each other and can be managed centrally. In addition to the previously known functions such as activation via license plate recognition and payment by credit card, the JUICE CHARGER 3 impresses with its new high-resolution touch display, among other things. Like the smartphone, this is simple and intuitive to use. Functions such as Google Maps enable e-car drivers to find a nearby restaurant for charging without having to use their smartphone. This is an enormous advantage for all charging guests, especially abroad or when reception is poor.
The JUICE BOOSTER 3 air, as a complement to the JUICE BOOSTER 2, expands the technology company's portfolio and has a lot to offer. In addition to the previously known uses as a mobile charging station, wall box and charging cable, the Juice Booster 3 air as a 6-in-1 solution includes additional functions for access management, charging management and is connected to the "J+" backend. It is not even as big in diameter as a Coke can and has a charging capacity of 11 kW.
The JUICE JET Engine processor
The core of the Juice stations is the company's own, extremely powerful JUICE JET Engine processor, which will be installed in all products in the future. Starting with the processor, Juice has managed to develop a sustainable, mutually reinforcing product portfolio: the processor is in the JUICE BOOSTER, which in turn forms the core of the JUICE CHARGER, which in turn can be expanded into the JUICE HUB and the JUICE HUB public. "The advantages here are clear: sustainable development, lower costs, functioning technology. We don't have to maintain 30 different versions for our full range. We can focus all of our development resources on a single software that benefits all devices. The benefit for customers is obvious: better and more stable solutions for less money. The quality is also noticeable in service cases. We have less than 0.1 percent of warranty cases," continues Christoph Erni.
Charging-as-a-Service – rent instead of buy
In order to support and relieve operators and managers of large parking areas, underground garages and multi-storey car parks in the transition to electromobility, Juice is now also offering a rental service for charging infrastructure. It is not just the charging station that is rented - the planning of the infrastructure, the entire power distribution in the underground car park, installation, administration, support, permanent guarantee, free updates and service are also covered by Juice Services AG for the duration of the rental. In garages with 30 or more spaces, of which at least five require a charging station immediately, the rental model can be used for 69.00 EUR/CHF per charging space. Parking spaces that have already been developed but are not yet used for charging pay just 1 EUR/CHF per year.

Also possible: remote controlling by the energy supplier.
