Juice Technology AG, manufacturer of charging stations and software, and leader in mobile charging stations for electric vehicles, is strengthening its commitment in Europe by founding Juice France, based in Villepinte near Paris. For the company, this means more than just an additional presence in another country.
For more than seven years, Juice Technology AG has been demonstrating its competence and broad know-how time and again and has already brought several industry firsts, innovative and high-quality products and solutions to the market. The focus has always been on driving forward the development of e-mobility, actively shaping the market for the benefit of consumers and always offering users of electric vehicles the best solution when it comes to charging. "The secret of Juice is that we always develop all of our products consistently from the user's perspective. Because charging must be simple, safe and accessible to everyone," says Christoph Erni, founder of Juice Technology AG and CEO of the Juice Group.
It is not surprising that the successful company has made a name for itself with its reliable technology both among end customers and major car manufacturers around the world. This is not least due to the fact that, for example, the JUICE BOOSTER 2 was the first mobile 22 kW charging station in the world to be successfully tested and certified by TÜV SÜD. The charging stations also regularly take the top places in comparison tests, such as those by vergleich.org or the ADAC. There are also a number of awards, such as the German Design Award 2020 for the JUICE BOOSTER 2 or the "Best Places to Work" award in 2020 and 2021 for Juice as an employer.
Juice France strengthens Juice's European presence
"France is an extremely large and important market, which we can now approach much more consistently thanks to our own local subsidiary," says Christoph Erni happily. He knows that French customers place particular value on support from their own country and, above all, in their own language. That is why the establishment of Juice France is so important.
Oliver Büntig will be managing the new subsidiary as Managing Director at Juice France. As a long-standing expert in the fields of automotive engineering and data management, he has extensive experience as a Tier 1 supplier for customers such as Airbus, Renault, John Deere and Faurecia. Oliver Büntig has worked successfully in business development in France for the past 20 years. His methods for organizing processes in sales, marketing and management are extremely valuable and will also benefit the new subsidiary in France.
"Decision-makers and government representatives are currently very committed to promoting electromobility in France. By 2022, 600,000 pure electric vehicles and 400,000 plug-in hybrid vehicles are to be on the roads - an ambitious goal that we, as a manufacturer of charging infrastructure, strongly support," explains Oliver Büntig, Managing Director of Juice France.
The comprehensive expansion of the charging infrastructure will be one of the biggest challenges. To overcome this, the French authorities have set themselves the goal of installing 100,000 charging stations and making them publicly accessible by the end of 2021.
"We see in France that the market is developing further. E-car drivers are looking for flexibility as well as security and do not want to be solely dependent on public charging stations. Mobile charging stations such as our JUICE BOOSTER 2 take up this trend and enable charging anywhere - at home, in the office or while traveling - with our Swiss Army knife of e-mobility," explains Oliver Büntig.
Juice Technology AG is present at several locations worldwide with its own branches, subsidiaries and partner companies. It also has a global network of resellers. More than 200 people now work in the areas of development, production, marketing, sales and logistics. The group is now being expanded to include Juice France SAS.

About Juice Technology
Juice Technology AG, headquartered in Cham (Zug, Switzerland), is a global manufacturer of charging solutions for electric vehicles. The company's extensive product portfolio with AC and DC charging stations from light mobile devices to large fast chargers makes it one of the very few full-range suppliers in the industry. Juice has dominated the global market for mobile 22 kW charging stations since 2014.
The decisive difference to other solutions available on the market is the consistent software orientation. All devices marked with "J+" are based on the same processor and the same firmware, which means they are compatible with each other. By using a single, consistent software architecture, Juice saves a lot of time, effort and money. Solutions such as omnidynamic load management, credit card payment or the interface-open backend are therefore available for the entire product range.
The Juice Group has a global presence with its own locations, subsidiaries and partner companies. The group includes Juice Services AG, Juice Telemetrics AG, the German Juice Europe GmbH with a branch in Munich, Juice Iberia SL in Malaga, Zhejiang Juice Technology Co., Ltd in Hangzhou, China and Juice Americas Inc. in Delaware, USA.
