The industry leader makes portable wallboxes more affordable

Juice Technology AG, a manufacturer of charging stations and software and a leader in mobile charging stations for electric vehicles, is not only setting new technological trends, but is now also taking an independent course in pricing.

Christoph Erni, founder and CEO of Juice Technology, has good news to report right at the start of the year: "We are pleased that we can already reduce the prices of our smart wallbox JUICE BOOSTER 3 air, which has enjoyed great popularity since its release. We can also reduce the RRP of the popular JUICE BOOSTER 2 back to the old price. Due to the high demand and the ability to produce more wallboxes at once, we were able to increase production volumes and reduce production costs accordingly. We achieved this without having to compromise on quality."

Thanks to good supplier relationships and a smart purchasing strategy, Juice was able to procure semiconductor components and produce devices even in times of supply chain crisis. The previously successful product for maximum flexibility when charging, JUICE BOOSTER 2, was joined in October 2022 by the smart portable wallbox JUICE BOOSTER 3 air.

The year 2022 has clearly shown one thing: e-mobility is crisis-resistant and is growing unabated. Electric cars are in demand like never before. One in ten cars on Europe's roads was purely electric at the beginning of 2022. Significant increases in registration numbers in the fourth quarter are an indication of an upward trend. The number of new registrations in Germany in December 2022 was 40 percent higher than in the same month last year - despite persistently high energy prices. At the same time, the numbers for all other types of drive are falling. The demand for e-cars is unbroken, as is the need for flexible charging options.

Juice not only has ideal solutions in its portfolio, but also pursues a clear vision to further advance the mobility transition to e-mobility and to further lower the hurdles for the switch: "With our flexible wallboxes, which combine several devices - stationary wallbox, mobile charger and Mode 3 charging cable - in a single one, we want to make the highest level of functionality and quality accessible to everyone. That is why we have decided to pass on the price advantage that we have achieved by reducing production costs directly to our customers," adds Christoph Erni.

The JUICE BOOSTER 3 air is now available from CHF/EUR 1,299, the JUICE BOOSTER 2 again from CHF/EUR 999 (RRP incl. VAT).
