The Swiss charging station manufacturer supplies the mobile charging station JUICE BOOSTER 2 for the upgrade of the BMW Group production facilities

Juice Technology AG, manufacturer of charging stations and software, and a leader in mobile charging stations for electric vehicles, supplies the JUICE BOOSTER 2 to the BMW Group's production facilities and to the majority of its dealers throughout Germany. The mobile charger gives the vehicle manufacturer full flexibility. This means that the electric cars can be charged at any time and absolutely safely during production or during a service - exactly where they are.

For the major car manufacturers, the change in mobility means not only a rethink of their offerings. The production and vehicle maintenance areas also need to be upgraded and converted for electric cars and a suitable charging infrastructure needs to be set up. Using the JUICE BOOSTER 2 enables the most sustainable and cost-efficient design possible. The BMW Group therefore uses both a version of the JUICE BOOSTER 2 adapted to its own needs and the Pro version in its German production facilities and workshops.

Thanks to the flexible application possibilities of the mobile charging station thanks to the extensive adapter system and extension options, production lines and processes do not have to be changed. E-cars can be charged at any time during production or servicing, exactly where the vehicle is located.

The JUICE BOOSTER 2 is manufactured in automotive-certified production facilities and is TÜV-SÜD certified, thus guaranteeing maximum safety and the highest quality for the sensitive production area. This certification is a prerequisite for cooperation with automobile manufacturers and sets out the basic quality requirements for series and spare parts production in the automotive industry.

The most important advantages of the JUICE BOOSTER 2 at a glance:

  1. Charge at any socket: With the adapters of the JUICE BOOSTER 2, the electric car can be charged at any conventional household and industrial socket worldwide.
  2. Automatic power detection: The charger is always set to the optimal charging power. This prevents sockets from being overloaded.
  3. The JUICE BOOSTER 2 is absolutely waterproof (IP 67) and can be driven over with a wheel load of up to three tons.
  4. JUICE CONNECTOR adapter plug: This is CE-compliant and designed to also cover future functions. The investment in the JUICE BOOSTER 2 and the adapters should be sustainable.
  5. TÜV-SÜD-tested: The JUICE BOOSTER 2 is the first mobile charging station in the 22 kW power class worldwide that is TÜV-SÜD-tested according to IEC 62752 Ed. 1 2016 including AMD1 2018.
  6. In the Pro version, the Juice Booster 2 also has interchangeable adapters on the vehicle side.
