As of the second half of 2023, the JUICE BOOSTER 3 air wall charger from Juice Technology AG – manufacturer of charging stations and software, leader in mobile charging stations for electric vehicles – can be purchased directly from FEGA & Schmitt, a leading electrical wholesaler and member of the Würth Group. This expands the distribution network of the innovative Juice product range for electromobility solutions in the German market.

Released one year ago, the JUICE BOOSTER 3 air with a charging capacity of 11 kW is the smallest mobile smart wall charger of its type and also includes load management as well as access control. A wide range of adapters make the device compatible with virtually all domestic and industrial sockets worldwide. It can also be used as a Mode 3 charging cable for public charging points and is available with accessories such as wall brackets, locks and extension cables.

The JUICE BOOSTER 3 air is of particular interest to electricians due its very quick and simple installation: All that is necessary is to install a CEE16 or CEE32 industrial socket and then fit the wall bracket. Users immediately benefit from maximum added value in the form of a smart wall charger that is also suitable for mobile use.

JUICE BOOSTER 3 air:

The compact yet fully-featured mobile wall charger supports single-phase to three-phase charging with up to 11 kW and provides rapid coverage for parking areas while ensuring maximum flexibility for users. Smart functions such as dynamic load management for up to ten units, remote/time control, user administration incl. RFID activation and a charging logbook with receipt function are accessible via the j+ pilot app. The Type 2 connector features a programmable button, which can be used, for example, to release the charging plug when the vehicle is unlocked. An internet connection for the load management feature and over-the-air updates is established via Wi-Fi. The fault detection for eleven internal and external faults also trips when excessive current consumption or incorrectly wired sockets are detected. In fact, some electricians already use the device to perform safety checks on electrical sockets in buildings. The 7-in-1 device is connected to the mains via proprietary adapter plugs on the JUICE CONNECTOR with automatic output detection. Domestic plugs (T12/13, CEE 7/7, Type L [10 A], Type G) feature JUICE CELSIUS overheating protection directly on the plug pins. The JUICE BOOSTER 3 air is fully compliant with all applicable standards, can withstand wheel loads of up to 3 tonnes and is usable in a temperature range of -30°C to 50°C. Moreover, it is impact-resistant (IK10), dust-proof and can tolerate temporary submersion (IP67) when connected.
