Private individuals and companies can now design their own individual charging stations

With its latest offer, Juice Technology AG – manufacturer of charging stations and software, leader in mobile charging stations for electric vehicles – is giving its customers ultimate creative freedom. Effective immediately, the front panels of the wall charging stations in the JUICE-CHARGER-me-3 series can be personalised with own photos, company logos and other motifs. This innovative feature, which is unique in this form, allows companies to strengthen their brand identity while private customers can lend a distinctive touch to their charging stations – with quantities starting from a single unit.

Customisable charging stations are a real market exclusive. This service from Juice provides customers with a simple and cost-effective advertising space: With minimal effort, they can decorate entire charging car parks with company logos or with their individual corporate design. Private customers can choose to embellish their wall chargers in underground car parks or carports with family photos, landscape shots or their very own design creations.

Owners of wall chargers from the JUICE-CHARGER-me-3 series can now let their creativity run wild and dream up their own designs for the front panels of the charging stations. The configurator in the Juice Store is fantastically easy to use. With order quantities starting from a single unit, both private individuals and companies can bring their ideas to life without being restricted by minimum purchase volumes, while also benefitting from cost pricing and professional, UV-resistant print quality.

But that’s not all: In addition to the familiar “Juice Style” skins for the mobile charging stations of the JUICE-BOOSTER series, customers can now also procure personalised self-adhesive films, at a similar bargain price.

Replaceable front panel

The front of the JUICE CHARGER me 3 is made from scratch-resistant, internally-printed acrylic glass. The outer casing is impact-, scratch- and wear-resistant, impervious to oils and greases, flame-retardant and UV-resistant. The tightly screwed, two-part inner casing is made from robust polycarbonate. Thanks to this multilayer system comprising the enclosed inner casing and attachable outer casing, companies can easily adapt the JUICE CHARGER me 3 to their own corporate design. The click-in, replaceable front panel enables individual motifs and custom branding.

Using software, the smart 11-kW wall charger can be upgraded to a maximum charging capacity of 22 kW at no additional cost. The device is supplied fully preconfigured and merely has to be connected (Plug & Play). Activation is performed via RFID or Plug & Charge (according to ISO 15118). A graphical user interface enables intuitive onboarding of the charging stations in a matter of minutes.
The necessary connectivity is established via Wi-Fi and Ethernet. Dynamic load management for up to 250 units is included as standard along with an MID-certified current meter for taking direct readings. The charging station is available with an optional residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO) for straightforward integration into power distribution systems.
Support for the OCPP 1.5 and 1.6 protocols enables connection to various backends, which ensures compatibility with virtually all commercial charging networks (incl. swisscharge, eCarUp and Virta). Alternatively, the in-house JUICE-EXO backend can be used for station management, user administration and billing purposes.
The JUICE CHARGER me 3 is CE-compliant according to all applicable EMC directives and can be used in outdoor temperatures ranging from -30°C to 50°C. It boasts IP67 protection against dirt and moisture penetration and is highly impact-resistant according to IK10, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
