Juice Technology goes one step further at JWCD 2022

Juice Technology AG, manufacturer of charging stations and software, and leader in mobile charging stations for electric vehicles, is once again pulling an industry-changing innovation out of the hat on Juice World Charging Day.

This year's event was all about future-proofing, ease of use and high-quality aesthetics. The Swiss charging station manufacturer presented its latest highlights at the eagerly awaited industry event. Expectations were accordingly high. Juice has more than fulfilled these and once again raised the bar quite a bit higher.

 Clear lines, rounded corners, matte silver and glossy black: The new edition of the JUICE CHARGER me with model number 3 comes in a new look that even more clearly marks the family resemblance to the most popular mobile charging station JUICE BOOSTER 2. With IP67 and IK10, it is now just as robust as the Booster and has already received various design awards in the short time since its launch: the Red Dot Award, the iF Design Award and the Green Good Design Award.

The real highlight of the event is the eagerly awaited JUICE BOOSTER 3 air. Visually a compressed version of the JUICE BOOSTER 2, the 11 kW charging station opens up completely new horizons. Users can look forward to no fewer than seven functional features. The JUICE BOOSTER 3 air is the first j+ device that can be remotely controlled with the j+ pilot app and can be easily updated over the air. This alone makes it a smart wallbox.

It goes without saying that the JUICE BOOSTER 3 air is completely waterproof and incredibly robust (IP67, IK10). In addition to the well-known automatic power detection via the adapter plug, new error detection features have been added that further increase safety. For example, the device switches off if the socket is incorrectly wired or if the vehicle draws more power than intended. Without a doubt, the smart gadget, which weighs just 700 grams (without cable), will quickly establish itself as a mobile variant of the classic wall box alongside the JUICE BOOSTER 2 with these safety features.

Christoph Erni, CEO and founder of Juice Technology AG, is visibly proud of his crew: "What our engineers have achieved in the past few months is incredible. The BOOSTER 3 air is now not only much more compact, but also more functional than any other mobile charging station. The slogan "7-in-1" refers to the numerous possible uses and equipment elements that are included free of charge. It is hard to beat in terms of ease of use and safety. Thanks to the focus on connectivity and software, it is also easy to gradually introduce new functions. Users can therefore remain curious."

Delivery capability as a competitive advantage
"We can deliver" is probably the most important sentence at this year's industry conference of the Swiss full-range retailer in view of the ongoing supply chain problems worldwide. Containers stood on the stage in Munich's Olympic Park as a symbol of this. Because Juice delivers containers at once - preferably in the aftersales business and to OEMs, i.e. vehicle manufacturers. Third on the list of target customers are electricity suppliers and real estate companies. What Juice delivers is impressive - and that is no coincidence.

Daniela Märkl, Head of Communications and PR at Juice, emphasizes that, especially in the area of ​​environmentally friendly mobility, the commitment to sustainable business is an important criterion from which the company itself and its business partners benefit directly: "For Juice, procurement is a central pillar of its commitment to sustainability and is therefore continuously optimized. This is the only way to guarantee quality and achieve planning security for everyone involved."

The charging station manufacturer attaches great importance to ensuring that all of its devices are consistently certified according to the high standards of the automotive industry - not only in terms of hardware, but also in terms of cyber security. In addition, it is working with a delegation in standardization committees to ensure that industry standards can be derived from everyday user experiences. The stated goal: users should no longer have to worry about how safe a device is and how it should be used. This is because all Juice devices meet the same maximum values ​​in terms of safety, tightness, robustness and temperature range. The only question you should ask yourself is: "What type of charger am I - for mobile or stationary charging?"
